Who we are:
Cube Surveys Limited are subsurface utility detection and mapping experts, working nationwide. In short, our experienced, qualified engineers can accurately locate, trace, depth and map all types of buried utilities and services, including plastic pipes and fibre optics.
Methodology:
Our engineers use various methods and different pieces of equipment including Electro-magnetic and Ground Penetrating Radar. As no one piece of equipment offers a panacea, these pieces of equipment are used in conjunction with each other to build up the ‘big picture’ of what lies buried.
How we present our findings:
Once our engineers have located the utilities and services they can be presented in one of three ways.
Instant Site Mark-out - When our engineers will literally mark our findings on the ground in biodegradable water based paint.
Electronic Trail Pits - When a ‘snap shot’ of certain ‘pinch points’ are required, our findings can be recorded in the form of a drawing replacing the need to dig trial holes.
Full Utility Mapping - Our findings are collected with a robotic total station and overlaid on your AutoCAD topographical survey in colour coded, separate layers.
